This Thursday, November 6, Mark Zuckerberg will be hosting his first community Q&A for the public to have the chance to ask any questions they might have. Whether its Mark’s favorite hoodie or programming language, the Q&A will have a similar structure to an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit. The live event will begin at 4 p.m. CST.
You can post your questions in the comment section of the event’s Facebook page as well as “like” other questions posted. Questions posted already range from Facebook’s privacy settings, why there’s no “dislike” button and why downloading Messenger is required now.
Along with Facebook questions, Instagram may be a popular topic. Facebook recently purchased Instagram for a whopping $1 billion in cash and stock. Since then, the company has slowly been adding advertisement to users’ feeds. The first photo ads were from companies like Michael Kors and Old Navy, which used the social media advertising platform to post pictures of new products in artsy filters.
In more recent news, it’s been announced that Instagram will start inserting video ads into users’ feeds. Brands we’ll see using this advertising platform include Disney, Call of Duty and Banana Republic. These ads will target you by your age, gender and location.
How do you feel about video advertisements on social media?
